About the role
This Co-Op role involves Power Amplifier (PA) design, electronics, design engineering, and semiconductor component test development. This position focuses on RF front-end solutions and power amplifiers for WiFi and Infra applications.
What you'll do
- Contribute to research and development of analog and RF integrated circuits for wireless communication applications.
- Perform circuit simulation, lab testing of circuits, and present design expectations/results.
- Assist in new product engineering and design activities.
- Assist in new product testing, characterization, tuning, and microsurgery.
- Complete a silicon, GaAs, or GaN IC design project.
What you'll need
- Currently enrolled in a BS, MS, or Ph.D. academic program (Electrical Engineering or related).
- Knowledge of electronic circuits and principles.
- Interest and aptitude in RF/microwave and analog circuit design and measurement.
- Interest and aptitude in semiconductor device physics and integrated circuit design.
- Working experience with RF Test Equipment (e.g. Signal Generators, Network Analyzer, RF Spectrum Analyzer).
Nice to have
- Familiarity with ADS, Momentum, HFSS, Cadence, SPICE, or similar design tools.
- Working experience with printed circuit boards assemble and component soldering.
- Working experience with electrical and high frequency (i.e. 50 MHz to 10 GHz) testing.
