About the role
This role covers post-silicon automotive systems validation tasks, including hardware and software test execution, lab debug, data collection, and automated test control. Technical work includes silicon evaluation board interfaces, test automation with Python, and serial protocols such as MDIO, SPI, and I2C.
What you'll do
- Execute hardware and software validation tasks for automotive systems, collect test data, and report findings to cross-functional teams. - Debug boards and silicon evaluation board interfaces using lab equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, thermal probes, and digital power supplies. - Run and build Python scripts for data parsing, logging, and automated test control, scaling automation systems on top of existing setups. - Support CI/CD development and scaling utilizing Jenkins. - Process and visualize test data using M365, Pyplot, or MATLAB to identify anomalies and summarize engineering results. - Document test procedures and observations in engineering trackers, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to reproduce issues and implement corrective actions.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Systems Engineering. - Intermediate or advanced familiarity with Python programming. - Hands-on experience with lab instrumentation including oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, thermal probes, TDR, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, or logic analyzers. - Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Pyplot, MATLAB, and Microsoft 365. - Familiarity with IEEE standards (802.3 dm/ch) and serial communication protocols such as MDIO, SPI, and I2C.
