About the role
This role is part of the Mixed IC Validation team focused on pre-silicon emulation and post-silicon validation for mixed-signal audio chips. The position validates functionality, performance, and low-power platform-level operations on the lab bench against datasheet specifications.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute tests on the lab bench per the validation plan during pre-silicon and post-silicon phases. - Develop automated test frameworks and regression test suites in MATLAB or LabVIEW. - Collaborate with IC Design engineers, Systems engineers, and Application engineers to understand requirements and use cases. - Debug analog and digital silicon issues, board issues, and validation software or hardware tools. - Analyze test results and identify failures using business intelligence tools such as Spotfire.
What you'll need
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with up to 2+ years of experience. - Experience with scripting or programming languages such as MATLAB, LabVIEW, C, or Python. - Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, or general lab gear. - Knowledge in analog, digital, power electronics, or audio engineering. - Understanding of silicon, board, and software interactions.
