About the role
This role involves operating production equipment to process wafers and ensuring product specifications are met.
What you'll do
- Load wafers into production equipment and verify product specifications.
- Monitor equipment operation and process pace.
- Perform minor corrections to the process and equipment.
- Set up and operate tools to process wafers through manufacturing stages.
- Use analytic and deductive skills to determine wafer processing strategies, including tool changeovers.
- Perform process diagnosis and interpretation using Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodology.
What you'll need
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work a 12-hour compressed shift in a clean room environment.
- Ability to carry a pod of wafers that weigh 15 pounds throughout the full shift.
- Ability to frequently climb 4-5 step stairs while carrying a wafer pod throughout the full work shift.
Nice to have
- Prior semiconductor experience.
- Stable work history.
