About the role
This role involves the design, verification, and documentation of mixed-signal circuits and products in the field of Power Management. You will contribute to Qualcomm's global PMIC design community, focusing on power and cost-efficient solutions for mobile, compute, AR/VR, Auto, and IoT products.
What you'll do
- Oversee the definition, design, verification, and documentation of mixed-signal circuits and/or products in Power Management.
- Execute design and verification strategies for PMICs for assigned blocks with supervision.
- Run functionality checks on single blocks to ensure they meet specifications.
- Actively participate in all aspects of design from system definition/specification to circuit design and simulation, and post-silicon debug.
- Oversee layout and silicon evaluation.
- Use design tools such as Cadence ADE, MathWorks MATLAB, Verilog/VerilogAMS, and System Verilog.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of Hardware Engineering experience; OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of Hardware Engineering experience; OR PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering experience.
- Expertise in one or more of the following engineering disciplines: power electronics (switch mode and linear), control theory, high accuracy data converters and analog front ends, high bandwidth linear amplifiers, very low power references, electro-migration and transistor reliability, behavioral modeling, and UVI techniques.
