About the role
This role involves the design, verification, and documentation of mixed-signal circuits and/or products in the field of Power Management. The position is part of a new PMIC analog design team in Qualcomm Bangalore, contributing to Qualcomm’s global PMIC design community.
What you'll do
- Oversee definition, design, verification, and documentation of mixed signal circuits and/or products in the field of Power Management.
- Execute design and verification strategies for PMICs for assigned blocks with supervision from a technical lead.
- Run functionality checks on a single block to ensure it meets specifications with minimal guidance.
- Actively participate in all aspects of the design from system definition/specification to circuit design and simulation, and post silicon debug.
- Oversee layout and silicon evaluation.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience, OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience, OR PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
- Expertise in one or more of the following engineering disciplines: power electronics (switch mode and linear), control theory, high accuracy data converters, analog front ends, high bandwidth linear amplifiers, very low power references, electro-migration, and transistor reliability.
- Experience with behavioral modeling and UVI techniques.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Cadence ADE, MathWorks MATLAB, Verilog/VerilogAMS, and System Verilog.
