About the role
What you'll do
- Partner with business and technology teams to improve connected digital tools, data, and processes for product development and operational efficiency.
- Support the transformation of engineering and product development processes by identifying future-state capabilities and driving cross-functional alignment.
- Apply knowledge of the New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle, from concept through commercialization, to improve process efficiency and business outcomes.
- Contribute to the adoption of modern engineering practices, including Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), digital twins, and digital thread initiatives.
- Help streamline Engineer-to-Order (ETO) and Configure-to-Order (CTO) processes by supporting product configuration and options management improvements.
- Support the integration of AI, machine learning, and analytics capabilities into business processes to improve decision-making, operational insights, and speed to market.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in operations, business process improvement, digital transformation, or systems implementation within complex organizations.
- Understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM), product portfolio management, manufacturing, or engineering processes.
- Experience working with enterprise platforms such as Siemens Teamcenter and NX.
- Knowledge of New Product Introduction (NPI), product configuration, BOM management, lifecycle management, workflows, and approval processes.
- Familiarity with system implementation methodologies and software development lifecycle concepts.
Nice to have
- Experience in consulting, business transformation, or process improvement roles.
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts and their business applications.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP platforms.
