About the role

As a Software Quality Assurance Intern in the Platform Software Quality Assurance team, you will help test and validate software platforms that support ASML products. You will work alongside software developers, hardware engineers, and application engineers to evaluate new features, identify issues, and verify system quality throughout the development lifecycle.

What you'll do

- Execute software testing activities across multiple software platforms. - Work alongside software developers, hardware engineers, and application engineers to evaluate new features and identify defects. - Use programming and scripting languages including Python, C++, Perl, or Shell scripting for testing and automation. - Troubleshoot technical issues and investigate software behavior to determine root causes. - Utilize AI-assisted engineering tools for learning, coding, test design, and documentation while validating outputs for accuracy, reliability, and security.

What you'll need

- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, or a related field. - Junior, senior, or graduate-level academic standing. - Understanding of operating systems, relational databases, networking concepts, and client-server architectures. - Familiarity with concurrent computing concepts and file system management. - Knowledge of software development lifecycles and quality assurance methodologies. - Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Python, C++, Perl, or Shell scripting.

Nice to have

- Coursework, academic projects, research, or internship experience related to software development, software testing, or system engineering.
