About the role
The Plasma Etch Process Engineer is responsible for sustaining and improving plasma etch processes to achieve safety, quality, cycle time, cost, and yield objectives within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
What you'll do
- Develop and qualify process recipes to support manufacturing performance and product reliability. - Analyze process and equipment data to drive root cause investigations and implement corrective actions. - Partner with equipment engineering, manufacturing, metrology, yield enhancement, and integration teams to resolve technical issues. - Lead process characterization activities and execute experiments. - Manage process changes through established change control and qualification procedures. - Provide technical guidance to technicians and junior engineers on moderately complex technical problems.
