About the role
This role is for the first permanent Physical Design / Implementation Lead, responsible for all aspects of the SoC implementation process.
What you'll do
- Optimize and automate synthesis flow and lead intake of new process technology.
- Optimize and automate timing closure process at block and subsystem level.
- Design and optimize power and clock architecture distribution networks.
- Own integration of analog/mixed-signal components into the digital implementation flow.
- Build and lead a physical design team, including hiring, ramping, and managing engineers.
What you'll need
- Track record leading physical design / implementation on large, complex SoCs through tapeout.
- Hands-on experience on advanced nodes; TSMC N3 strongly preferred, FinFET-class node experience (7nm–3nm) required.
- Deep power and clock design experience at scale.
- Track record of leading and growing a team.
Nice to have
- Experience integrating analog/mixed-signal blocks into a digital implementation flow.
- Cadence toolchain experience.
