About the role
This internship focuses on physical design engineering for chips at NVIDIA, encompassing all aspects from netlist to GDSII.
What you'll do
- Be responsible for all aspects of physical design (Netlist to GDSII & Flow development).
- Work on floorplan (from top level to block level).
- Perform placement and routing (from top level to block level).
- Conduct timing, power, noise, and DFM optimization and analysis.
- Execute chip assembly and physical verification.
- Develop in-house tools and solutions.
What you'll need
- MS in Microelectronics, EE, CS, or a related major.
- Courses taken in IC design or digital circuit design.
- Knowledge of chip design, Place&Route.
