About the role

This role involves inventing innovative parallel algorithm techniques, expressive parallel programming models/languages, powerful code analysis & generation tools, and scalable runtime environments.

What you'll do

  • Invent new techniques, technologies, methodologies, and processes to enable new products.
  • Produce technology vision and the basis for products 5-10 years out.

What you'll need

  • Pursuing a PhD Degree in CS, CE, EE, Physics, or Math.
  • Strong programming ability in C, C++, Python, and/or Rust.
  • Track record of research contributions in programming languages, compilers, runtime systems, parallel algorithms, or formal verification.
  • Published academic papers in your field of research.

Nice to have

  • Expertise in applying programming system insights and techniques to problems in machine learning, data science, and/or distributed computing.
  • Expertise in using AI to author, optimize, verify, and maintain software.
  • Proven ability to implement your ideas to run on the GPU.
  • Experience building software systems used by other developers.
