About the role
This role is responsible for Process Design Kit (PDK) change management and Design Technology Co-Optimization (DTCO) in Richardson, Texas. You will collaborate across product design, process integration, design rules, compact modeling, and CAD teams.
What you'll do
- Own PDK change management, handling and dispositioning ongoing cross-functional PDK change requests.
- Plan and schedule PDK releases and development timelines.
- Develop and execute processes for PDK verification and benchmarking.
- Drive resolution of technical issues found during PDK verification in coordination with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product design, process integration, design rules, modeling, and CAD engineering groups.
What you'll need
- B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of work experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably in a Design-Technology Co-Optimization role.
- Solid understanding of semiconductor technology, semiconductor device physics, compact modeling, design rules, and CAD tools.
- Hands-on experience with EDA tools: Star RC, FineSim, and Calibre.
- Programming skills in Python and Bash.
- Demonstrated proficiency with using AI in your daily engineering work.
