About the role
NVIDIA is hiring a PCB Design Layout Engineer to perform layout of high speed, high-density PCBs across multiple business units including Data Center, GPU Desktop, Notebook, Automotive, Professional, Deep Learning, and AI.
What you'll do
- Perform PCB layout of high speed and high-density value-conscious PCBs in collaboration with product design engineers.
- Execute complete CAD layout development, including detailed component placement, constraints management, and implementation of topology, signal integrity, and power integrity concepts.
- Own design releases and generate artwork files, ODB++, test reports, and electronic PCB documentation.
- Ensure designs adhere to SI constraints, EMI/RFI control, FCC, UL, European regulations, and IPC specifications.
What you'll need
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of overall relevant practical experience.
- Leadership experience with a track record of managing teams and projects.
- Detail-oriented focus on quality and reliability in PCB layout design.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex design issues.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in PCB design tools such as Cadence Allegro or Mentor Graphics.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to PCB layout and manufacturing processes.
- Strong understanding of high-speed digital design principles and signal integrity considerations.
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
