About the role
As an Ocotillo Technology Fabrication (OTF) Defect Metrology Shift Group Leader, you will be responsible for the performance, development, and employee relations of technicians working on shifts, as well as creating and executing a roadmap to meet area/shift metrics.
What you'll do
- Set priorities for the team and manage performance.
- Supervise activities of product teams or staff in a manufacturing area.
- Assess personnel and material levels to determine production schedules.
- Assign personnel and monitor workflow through the manufacturing facility.
- Establish operating policies and procedures and coordinate multiple functions.
- Ensure overall safety of personnel, company assets, and the environment.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor fabrication industry.
- 5+ years of experience in process engineering or yield experience.
Nice to have
- Demonstrated aptitude to interact with vendor field service engineering support and manufacturing technicians on toolsets.
- Previous people management and/or leadership experience.
- Technical expertise within Semiconductor Process engineering to provide technical direction on quality issues.
- Data analysis skills and a good understanding of basic statistics.
