About the role
This role involves owning all aspects of one or more of the factory's 300mm toolsets as an OTF Module Engineer within the Ocotillo Technology Fabrication (OTF) Vacuum Systems Group (VSG).
What you'll do
- Own all aspects of one or more of the factory's 300mm toolsets, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
- Review control charts and tool output daily to ensure toolset and layers remain excursion-free.
- Deliver Model of Record (MOR) availability and achieve 100 percent matching for relevant operations.
- Drive continuous improvement in toolset health and matching by maintaining and driving an improvement roadmap.
- Lead tools and area to achieve record tool availability, cycle time, and low defect densities.
- Define roadmaps, establish flow, procedures, and equipment configuration for new technology processes.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical, or related engineering STEM field with 1+ years of experience.
- OR Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical, or related engineering STEM field with 6+ months of experience.
- Engineering experience in a technology manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing ramps and technology transfers.
Nice to have
- Experience working in a semiconductor factory as a technician or engineer.
- Statistics and experimental design skills to apply to tool matching, tool qualification, and process development.
- Technical and troubleshooting skills.
