About the role
What you'll do
- Develop and train Deep Neural Networks for path generation in autonomous vehicles.
- Collect training datasets and real-time inference run-times using simulators/gyms.
- Perform in-vehicle tests for autonomous vehicles.
- Build fundamental infrastructure and software platforms for robotics systems.
- Work at the heart of the software system that powers robots and applications built with Isaac.
What you'll need
- Actively enrolled in a university pursuing a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Prior experience or knowledge in programming skills and technologies such as C, C++, C++17, CUDA, ROS, Python, OpenGL, Linux.
- Experience with Sensor Input Devices (LiDAR, cameras, radars).
- Experience with Training Frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
- Course or internship experience in Computer Vision, Mapping, Localization, SLAM, or Image Processing.
- Course or internship experience in Robotics, Autonomous Vehicles, Validation Frameworks for Deep Learning, Operating Systems and Data Structures (threads, processes, memory, synchronization), Physics Simulation, Simulators, Computer Graphics, or Version Control.
