This role involves collaborating with New Product Development teams to ensure clear engineering drawing requirements for suppliers and active participation in the Supplier Selection Process.
What you'll do
- Work with New Product Development teams to ensure integrity and clarity of engineering drawing requirements.
- Participate with New Product Introduction teams to promote design for manufacturability.
- Continuously involve in the Supplier Selection Process to develop a competitive supply base.
- Perform supplier technical audits and evaluate supplier performance and capability.
- Perform quality problem resolutions and incident management, driving root cause and corrective action.
- Evaluate technical requirements of new and existing products and recommend materials to Design Engineering.
