About the role
This role supports the transfer of new products from Product Development Engineering into manufacturing, ensuring successful product launches and production readiness.
What you'll do
- Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process records, and standard operating procedures.
- Support the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing equipment and production processes.
- Collaborate with Development, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to define robust products and scalable manufacturing processes.
- Assist in the planning, execution, and documentation of Validation & Qualification (V&Q) activities for new products, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
- Analyze process data and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and reliability.
- Communicate project progress, results, and recommendations through meetings, presentations, and written reports.
What you'll need
- Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or similar) for creating and reviewing engineering drawings and equipment layouts.
- Currently enrolled student.
- Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June.
- Familiarity with university requirements to participate in a co-op program.
- Major in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering with 2027/2028 graduation.
Nice to have
- Prior internship or work experience in a manufacturing setting.
