About the role

This role involves developing high-speed memory controller designs for Qualcomm products.

What you'll do

  • Develop architecture and design specifications for logic designs.
  • Implement and deliver RTL for memory systems.
  • Collaborate with verification engineers to ensure high quality designs.
  • Debug designs and provide debug support during chip integration.
  • Perform Synthesis, Timing Closure, Physical Design Support, Gate Level Simulations, and Power Analysis.
  • Contribute to the improvement of design methodology.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design experience OR Master's degree and 3+ years of experience OR PhD and 2+ years of experience.
  • 5 years ASIC design, RTL coding, and front-end digital design experience.
  • 3 years Hardware Architecture experience.
  • Experience with LPDDR memory and cache controllers, NoC based architectures interfacing to CPU, DSP, and multimedia processors.
  • Experience with x86 or ARM CPU/bus architectures.
  • Experience with ordering of memory transactions and enforcing proper ordering to conform to ISA architecture specification.

Nice to have

  • 3-10 years of ASIC design (RTL coding).
  • Exposure to RTL Design Verification flows.
  • Exposure to HBM memory type designs.
  • Experience with on-chip tightly coupled SRAM & L3 cache controller architecture/design.
