About the role
As a New Product Manufacturing Engineer IV, you will lead the development, implementation, and release of Bill of Materials (BOMs) and product structures for complex products.
What you'll do
- Lead the development and implementation of new product manufacturing, test, and sourcing strategies.
- Manage the development and validation of Operation Method Sheets (OMS) for complex new products.
- Utilize data from 3D solid model virtual analysis processes, including Master Layout (MLO) and Digital Mock Up (DMU).
- Participate in design reviews, providing DFA, DFAe, DFTp, ITO, and operational efficiency improvement feedback.
- Project manage Change Control Board (CCB) and orchestrate change requests and execute change control processes.
- Lead the disposition and resolution of issues requiring Long Term Corrective Action (LTCA) and perform root cause corrective analysis (RCCA).
What you'll need
- Advanced knowledge of New Product Manufacturing Engineer (NPME) role.
- Expertise in developing, implementing, and releasing BOMs and product structure.
- Experience driving the development and implementation of new product manufacturing, test, and sourcing strategies.
- Proficiency in developing and validating Operation Method Sheets (OMS).
- Ability to utilize data from 3D solid model virtual analysis process, Master Layout (MLO), and Digital Mock Up (DMU).
- Experience providing DFA, DFAe, DFTp, ITO feedback in design reviews.
