About the role
This role coordinates the setup of new products in manufacturing systems and drives factory readiness for new product introductions.
What you'll do
- Own the creation, maintenance, validation, and release of new-product and first-article setup in PROMIS, Agile, Oracle, and other manufacturing applications.
- Coordinate the creation and validation of manufacturing routings, operation sequences, part numbers, bills of material, product structures, and revision levels.
- Work with Process and Equipment Engineering to define process steps, equipment requirements, toolsets, recipes, and required controls.
- Coordinate the cross-functional introduction of new products from initial planning through first article, learning cycles, and manufacturing release.
- Develop and coordinate training plans for manufacturing supervisors, technicians, and operators prior to product release.
- Assist engineers in preparing, formatting, routing, and releasing manufacturing work instructions and supporting documentation.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
Nice to have
- Experience in IT, PROMIS systems, or a related industry, with hands-on experience using PROMIS MES systems.
- Experience creating or maintaining product data, manufacturing routings, bills of material, work instructions, or factory master data.
- Experience with PROMIS or another manufacturing execution system (MES).
- Experience with Agile PLM, Oracle ERP, or comparable product-lifecycle and enterprise-resource systems.
- Experience with Xsite, INFICON, or comparable factory monitoring and manufacturing support applications.
- Experience supporting first articles, engineering builds, product transfers, or factory launches.
- Experience in semiconductor, probe-card, electronics, medical-device, aerospace, or another controlled manufacturing environment.
- Experience developing or delivering manufacturing training.
- Working knowledge of configuration control, engineering change control, quality systems, and document-release processes.
