About the role
This role involves performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wafer fabrication equipment within the Metrology Equipment area, focusing on ensuring the optimal operation and repair of these critical tools.
What you'll do
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wafer fabrication Metrology equipment.
- Maintain, repair, upgrade, and monitor wafer fabrication equipment including 4-point probe, Atomic Force Microscopy, CDSEM, CD Verity, Film Thickness measurement tools (KLA UVxxPIN), and Defect inspection tools (KLA 8100, SP1).
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic systems, pneumatic systems, and mechanical systems.
- Complete documentation for equipment maintenance and train others on procedures.
- Improve overall equipment performance based on SPC and FDC.
What you'll need
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Metrology/Defect area equipment.
- Specific knowledge of Maintenance job functions.
- Solid understanding of both SPC and FDC.
- Ability to communicate effectively using both written and verbal skills.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods (up to 10 hours), occasionally stoop/crawl in confined spaces, and lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds.
