About the role
As an N1 Metrology Technician, you will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wafer fabrication equipment within the Metrology area at the Austin (Ed Bluestein, Manufacturing) facility.
What you'll do
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Metrology wafer fabrication equipment.
- Maintain, repair, upgrade, and monitor wafer fabrication equipment, including 4-point probe, Atomic Force Microscopy, CDSEM, CD Verity, Film Thickness measurement tools (KLA UVxxPIN), and Defect inspection tools (KLA 8100, SP1).
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic systems, pneumatic systems, and mechanical systems.
- Complete documentation and train others on equipment maintenance.
What you'll need
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Metrology/Defect area equipment.
- Knowledge of Maintenance job functions.
- Solid understanding of SPC and FDC.
- Ability to stand for long periods, stoop, crawl in confined spaces, and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
