About the role
This role is for a Device Engineer to work with the Technology Development team and the New Product Device Engineering team, ramping up the Silicon Photonics platform.
What you'll do
- Drive New Product Introductions for Silicon Photonics devices, setting performance targets.
- Analyze sensitivity curves and their impact on electrical and optical product excellence.
- Orchestrate New Product Introduction workload to ensure successful launches.
- Collaborate with the Electrical Characterization Team to set up SPC controls and monitoring strategies.
- Use data, failure analysis, and device knowledge to identify improvement opportunities.
- Partner with Test, Integration, and Process Modules to deliver enhancements.
What you'll need
- Master’s Degree in Circuit Design, Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
- Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge in the design, execution, and analysis of experiments.
- Knowledge of circuit design and test.
- Knowledge of solid state device physics, submicron FET architectures.
- Understanding of the implications of electrical characteristics and performance on yield and product behavior.
Nice to have
- Two years of relevant industry experience.
- Internship experience in circuit design, characterization, test, yield enhancement and/or product engineering.
- Working knowledge of semiconductor processing.
- Working knowledge of process integration.
- Working knowledge of Silicon Photonics.
