About the role
As a Process Engineer at TSMC Arizona, you will focus on delivering a robust and efficient semiconductor manufacturing process with data-driven analytics and systematic problem-solving skills across module engineering departments.
What you'll do
- Design and execute experiments, interpreting and extracting results from complex data sets to optimize the manufacturing process. - Apply statistical process control methods to establish and sustain a robust manufacturing process. - Qualify and sustain manufacturing processes to expand capacity with speed and quality. - Collaborate with equipment and material suppliers to identify technology gaps and qualify mitigation and continuous improvement solutions. - Drive continuous improvements on process stability, capability, quality, reliability, yield, productivity, and safety. - Support scheduled night shifts, weekend on-duty, and on-call rotations in a 24/7 high-volume manufacturing environment.
What you'll need
- Bachelor, Master, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related fields. - Academic skills in numerical analysis, statistics, optics, chemistry, or physics. - Willingness to work in a clean room environment. - Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
