About the role
This multifaceted Module Engineer role focuses on developing a robust manufacturable process module within Intel's Ocotillo Technology Fabrication (OTF) facility in Chandler, Arizona.
What you'll do
- Own all aspects of one or more of the factory's 300mm toolsets.
- Ensure the safety and cleanliness of your area and enforce Copy Exactly for your toolset.
- Review control charts and tool output daily to ensure the toolset and layers remain excursion free.
- Deliver Model of Record (MOR) availability and achieve 100 percent matching for all relevant operations.
- Drive continuous improvement in the health and matching of your toolset(s) by maintaining an improvement roadmap.
- Lead tools and areas to achieve record tool availability, cycle time, and low defect densities.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree with 1+ years of experience OR Master’s degree with 6+ months of experience in Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical, or a related engineering STEM field.
- Engineering experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing ramps and technology transfers.
- Ability to define roadmaps to meet requirements, goals, and milestones for a new technology process.
- Skill in defining and establishing flow, procedures, and equipment configuration for the module.
- Capability to plan and conduct experiments to characterize the process throughout the development cycle.
Nice to have
- Engineering experience in advanced node semiconductor foundry.
- Experience working in a semiconductor factory as a technician or engineer.
- Statistics and experimental design skills for tool matching, tool qualification, and process development.
- Troubleshooting skills.
