About the role
As a Modeling Engineer in the Central Technology Machine Learning Hardware Architecture team, you will focus on modeling and analysis for Arm IP designs.
What you'll do
- Work on functional and performance modeling and analysis for machine learning across Arm IP. - Model new architectural features within in-house simulation models. - Conduct workload characterization and analyze performance results. - Develop automation and visualization tools to evaluate and present modeling output.
What you'll need
- Strong computer architecture and systems engineering fundamentals. - Functional or performance modeling experience for hardware IP development. - Strong software development skills with modern C++ and Python. - Strong problem solving and debugging skills. - Familiarity with Linux development environments.
Nice to have
- Experience with Machine Learning IP development or systems. - Experience with cache-coherent memory system architecture. - Hardware microarchitecture exploration experience.
