About the role
This role directs, leads, and manages the technical activities and lab operations for the Lam Customer Support Business Group (CSBG) process engineering teams. It involves managing lab process activities for customer process demonstrations and internal engineering development.
What you'll do
- Manage lab process activities in support of customer process demonstrations and internal engineering development.
- Lead a team of process specialists to execute on-tool wafer based testing and metrology.
- Develop methodology and ensure high standards for customer facing presentations.
- Develop process engineering capability within the team.
- Manage cross-functional teams to schedule and plan customer process demonstrations.
- Align deliverables from technical development and customer facing teams to meet spec targets.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree with 4-6 years of supervisory experience or 12 years of engineering experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, chemical engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of semiconductor process/product engineering experience.
Nice to have
- Experience in wafer preparation and metrology techniques (thin film, CD-SEM, X-SEM).
- In-depth understanding and working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE).
- Quickbase application development experience.
