About the role

This position serves as Regional Manager for the Global Inventory Management Team and Site Manager for the GP&O Spares Planning team, directing operational support and process improvement initiatives. The role oversees inventory planning, end-to-end excess inventory management, and site-level operational support in Batu Kawan.

What you'll do

• Lead a team of operational business analysts across the Asia region and represent the Inventory organization at regional and site levels.
• Execute inventory planning, inventory quality initiatives, and inventory reduction and optimization programs at scale.
• Lead end-to-end excess inventory management activities, including excess identification, prioritization, liquidation, and disposition.
• Identify root causes of inventory issues, implement corrective actions, and participate in excess inventory analysis and financial reviews.
• Partner with global spares planning functional leaders to maintain communication and support hiring, assimilation, and day-to-day site operations.
• Mentor and develop the site spares planning team while supporting organizational development and talent growth initiatives.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 8-12 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in a managerial role in inventory management with a deep understanding of supply chain, logistics, planning, and operations.
• Demonstrated management skills to achieve operations and business objectives while leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex systems and processes.
• Understanding of working capital management and financial reporting.

Nice to have

• Experience in a global supply chain, high-tech manufacturing, or logistics environment.
• Familiarity with ERP, planning, or fulfillment systems such as SAP, Kinaxis, or SPM.
• Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies.
