About the role
The Metrology OCD Library Team Section Manager develops and optimizes OCD RCWA/ML library and film strategy models for inline and offline measurements during fab ramping and mass production. The role supports N5, N4, and N3 production issue analysis, tool chamber matching, and spectrum modeling across advanced logic nodes.
What you'll do
- Develop and optimize OCD RCWA/ML library and film strategy models for inline/offline measurements during fab ramping, mass production, and NTO/Process CIP. - Analyze OCD and film spectrum in 3D/2D structures along with inline results to drive root-cause analysis and process improvement across full route process loops. - Support N5, N4, and N3 production issue analysis in collaboration with integration, module, and metrology teams. - Establish a spectrum RMSE comparison system to monitor cross-fab inline process flow issues and tool matching. - Examine process tool chamber matching results based on spectrum errors to ensure proper tool chamber release. - Coordinate with metrology vendors for library and recipe setup, library workstation and server maintenance, system upgrades, and troubleshooting. - Train engineers in metrology measurement theory and library algorithms to strengthen technical capabilities across the team.
What you'll need
- Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field plus 5 years of engineering experience (or a Bachelor's degree in the same fields plus 7 years of progressive engineering experience). - 5 years of experience with semiconductor manufacturing principles, practices, and techniques related to equipment engineering and maintenance. - 5 years of experience supporting 5nm technology or below in the logic chip semiconductor industry. - 5 years of experience in KLA Acushape/OLSA, Onto NanoDiffract/WVASE, and Nova Mars software modeling, including library development. - 3 years of experience overseeing junior engineers. - 3 years of experience in at least one of the following: 6-sigma process control, chemical quality improvement, or air/liquid purifier systems. - Experience or education in designing DoE wafers and optimizing libraries for TEM or reference tool linearity. - Ability and willingness to work on-site at the Phoenix, Arizona facility.
