About the role
This role involves contributing to all phases of product development for innovative MEMS accelerometers and gyroscopes as a member of the MEMS design team.
What you'll do
- Perform feasibility studies and select sensor architectures to meet specifications.
- Design sensor layouts and conduct simulations to predict sensor performance.
- Measure sensor prototypes in a laboratory environment to verify alignment between simulations and actual sensor behavior.
What you'll need
- Background in mechanical engineering, physical engineering, or electronic engineering.
- Solid background in physics, mechanics, and electronics.
- Interest in sensors.
Nice to have
- Experience with finite element method (FEM) simulations.
- Experience with MATLAB®.
- Laboratory experience with instruments used for sensor validation.
