About the role
This role involves advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work as a Mechatronics systems design engineer within a multidisciplinary team. You will be developing metrology equipment essential to advanced semiconductor manufacturing.
What you'll do
- Work independently on data collection, analysis, calibration, and writing scripts using Python or Matlab.
- Perform hands-on work with hardware and gather necessary data in the lab or the cleanroom.
- Define plans for system integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Translate customer and system requirements into test plans, engineering models, and robust hardware designs.
What you'll need
- Doctorate Degree and 1+ years related work experience; or Master's Level Degree and 4 years related work experience; or Bachelor's Level Degree and 6 years related work experience.
- Strong experience in requirements definition, precision motion system design, motor and air-bearing development.
- Strong experience with CFD-based thermal/flow analysis and experimental validation of complex mechatronic systems.
- Strong experience with experimental design and hardware-in-the-loop experimentation to retire design risks.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of numerical optimization and image processing.
