About the role
This internship focuses on advancing mechatronics systems within the Metrology division.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with design engineers on advanced metrology systems. - Work independently on data collection, analysis, and project management. - Perform hands-on work with hardware and gather data in the lab or cleanroom. - Present technical analysis verbally and in writing to the team. - Modify tuning algorithms and design/update machine learning algorithms. - Identify gaps and propose solutions in implementation.
What you'll need
- Currently enrolled in a Ph.D. or Master's Level Degree with a minimum of 3.5 GPA. - Experience in System Dynamics and Identification, Signal processing, Predictive Maintenance, or Modeling of mechanical systems. - Experience in the validation of hardware systems. - Knowledge of Matlab for data analysis and control development. - Knowledge of building GUIs in Matlab.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in electrical, robotics, control systems, mechanical engineering, data science, or related field. - Hands-on experience in the lab.
