About the role
Mechanical and thermal engineering interns work within the platform organization to support hardware development from PCB to rack. The role focuses on NPI prototyping, manufacturing fixture development, liquid cooling technologies, and rack-level systems for high power ASIC designs.
What you'll do
- Support mechanical and thermal engineering efforts spanning NPI prototyping and manufacturing fixture development. - Work on liquid cooling technologies and rack-level system development. - Collaborate across mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines to design hardware supporting Etched silicon from PCB to rack. - Build and evaluate mechanical systems and hands-on hardware prototypes.
What you'll need
- Progress towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - Experience building real mechanical systems, boards, or other hands-on projects. - Knowledge of the board design cycle, high-speed interconnects, power delivery, and system integration.
