This role involves leading and growing a diverse team of mechanical, thermal, and mechanical quality engineers supporting Teradyne's Memory Test Division. The team develops advanced automated test solutions that enable semiconductor companies to bring breakthrough products to market.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage a team of mechanical, thermal, and mechanical quality engineers.
- Drive technical excellence and guide multiple simultaneous, complex, cross-functional development programs.
- Establish engineering rigor, develop scalable processes, and foster innovation.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders on high-performance thermal management systems, advanced liquid cooling technologies, precision electromechanical assemblies, and high-speed signal delivery solutions.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in mechanical product design and development.
- 5+ years of technical project leadership experience managing complex, multidisciplinary programs.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional engineering initiatives.
- Strong experience with mechanical design, thermal systems, and product development processes.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Previous people management experience (2-3+ years preferred).
- Experience developing semiconductor capital equipment, automation systems, or complex hardware platforms.
- Automated Test Equipment (ATE) industry experience.
- Expertise in thermal management, liquid cooling systems, precision electromechanical design, or high-speed hardware development.
