About the role
This role involves working on the development of sub-assemblies for KLA’s inspection and metrology tools. You will contribute to projects at the Ann Arbor, Michigan location.
What you'll do
- Design 3D CAD models of mechanical parts and assemblies
- Create and maintain engineering documentation
- Perform basic analytical modeling to support design decisions
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including electrical, optical, systems, and software engineers
- Procure components and materials for prototyping
- Assemble and test your designs in a laboratory setting
What you'll need
- Completed fundamental coursework in mechanical design and manufacturing
- Basic skills in CAD software
- Less than 1 year of related experience
Nice to have
- Familiarity with PTC Creo
- Familiarity with Ansys
