About the role
Perform tasks related directly to the receipt, warehousing, control, packaging, and issue/shipment of manufactured products and vendor-acquired material and supplies, specifically handling graphite.
What you'll do
- Pick up pieces of graphite, measure them, and weigh them
- Document measurements on a form
- Move graphite into and out of manufacturing cells as required
- Follow instructions on production orders to ensure graphite is moved through the proper process
- Perform preventative maintenance and housekeeping duties
- Maintain order and cleanliness of Warehouse premises and a clean and safe work area
What you'll need
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Able to read and write the English language
- Able to safely lift 50 pounds
- Ability to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as required
- Consistent high standards of housekeeping and strict adherence to quality standards
- Ability to perform visual checks and handle materials responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Nice to have
- Experience in a related field
- Personal experience in working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment
