About the role

This role performs physical and administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and order fulfillment of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment in Chaska, MN.

What you'll do

• Perform shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and order fulfillment tasks for materials, merchandise, supplies, and equipment.
• Check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintain records, and reject unsatisfactory items.
• Package and prepare products for final shipment, post weights and shipping charges, and maintain records of shipped merchandise.
• Lift heavy items and operate a forklift as needed.
• Manage non-inventory items, scrap allocations, crating requests for return materials authorizations, and warehouse storage space allocation.
• Coordinate with scrap suppliers and execute special projects within logistics to meet safety, quality, or compliance standards.

What you'll need

• Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and the ability to use hand tools.
• General math skills including fractions, decimals, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Adherence to safety procedures consistent with the use of hand and power tools and dangerous elements.
• Ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds and perform physical duties in confined areas or cleanroom environments.
• Availability for 1st shift (Monday – Friday) with potential for occasional on-call weekend work.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SAP inventory management.
