About the role
This Master Thesis Internship involves developing an AI-Agent for semiconductor design, software engineering, and AI innovation. The role focuses on device optimization and design-space exploration to support transistor-level design decisions.
What you'll do
- Develop an AI-Agent to evaluate trade-offs in device exploration and characterization.
- Learn about device optimization, process and design-space exploration, and operating-condition checks.
- Help establish efficient methodologies that support NXP design centers worldwide.
What you'll need
- Enrolled in a Master’s degree in Electronics or Artificial Intelligence.
- Proficient with Python language development.
- Experience with ML libraries (e.g. Pandas, NumPy, pyQT).
- Linux environment experience.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills in English.
Nice to have
- Interest in EDA tools, semiconductor design flows, or engineering automation.
- Data engineering or pipeline tools.
- Git, Jira.
- Prior AI/ML project experience.
