About the role
This role involves loading wafers into production equipment, verifying product specifications, monitoring equipment operation, and recognizing when adjustments are needed in the manufacturing process.
What you'll do
- Load wafers into production equipment and verify product specifications
- Set up and operate tools to process wafers through manufacturing stages
- Use analytic and deductive skills to determine wafer processing strategies, including tool changeovers
- Make minor corrections to processes and equipment, escalating to technicians or engineers when needed
- Perform production processes in accordance with documented specifications and schedules
- Interface with computer systems to complete job duties and prioritize daily tasks
What you'll need
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work a 12-hour compressed shift in a clean room environment
- Ability to carry pods of wafers weighing 15 pounds throughout the full shift
- Ability to frequently climb 4-5 step stairs while carrying a wafer pod throughout the full shift
- Computer knowledge for process diagnosis and interpretation
- Adherence to safety and conduct requirements

- Prior semiconductor experience
- Stable work history
