About the role
This role involves performing alignments, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of components, circuits, sub-assemblies, modules, and systems within a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do
- Perform alignments, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of components, circuits, sub-assemblies, modules, and systems
- Recognize failures and set up problems encountered during system testing and formulate corrective action plans
- Operate multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, current probes, thermometers, and special test equipment
- Conduct engineering and quality assurance test evaluations
- Maintain equipment calibration as per ISO standards
- Operate complex pick and place (PnP) Handlers (M3, Eclipse X)
What you'll need
- AS degree or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum of five years’ experience in test and/or E/M manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of electronics theory and the ability to read and interpret schematics
- Ability to wire and build test fixtures
- Advanced diagnostic skill level
- PCB soldering and rework
- Electronic components sourcing and completing bills of materials
- Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to add/modify and update data in MS Excel and work on reports using MS Word
- Experience with complex software tools to test parts as per MPIs & Work instructions
