Build and test sub-systems and prototypes for the ASML EUV Source.
About the role
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will build and test sub-systems of the ASML EUV Source. This includes building and testing laser sub-system prototypes, validating manufacturing processes, and supporting optical alignment, functional testing, and equipment calibration.
What you'll do
- Assemble, test, and troubleshoot sub-systems and laser sub-system prototypes using torque wrenches, electronic equipment, and specialized alignment instruments. - Solder small wires under a microscope and install electrical connectors to modules. - Operate specialized test equipment including leak testing devices, Hi-Pot equipment, oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and Helium Sniffers. - Pressurize gas and water systems with helium and troubleshoot failures. - Read and interpret business and technical documents including schematics, engineering drawings, Bills of Materials, and work instructions. - Clean surfaces using Acetone, Methanol, and Isopropyl alcohol to meet cleanliness and workmanship standards prior to shipping.
What you'll need
- High School Diploma or equivalent; knowledge base generally requires an AS or related degree. - Minimum of 2 years of experience (or fewer years with a Bachelor's degree). - Experience utilizing electronic and pneumatic tools, torque wrenches, and lifting equipment. - Basic understanding of laser systems and a strong electrical/electronic background. - Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and correct issues in complex software-driven electronic systems. - Proficiency with test tools such as oscilloscopes, voltage and current probes, multi-meters, and chart recorders.
Nice to have
- Associate's Degree in a technical or scientific field. - Familiarity with cleanroom protocol.
