About the role
The Manufacturing Process Technician supports highly automated manufacturing processes on production lines.
What you'll do
- Perform equipment setup, operation, and shutdown to meet standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Analyze process and test data to determine necessary actions for quality, yield, and efficiency.
- Utilize human machine interfaces (HMIs), Scada system, and Statistical process controls (SPC) to identify and correct process shifts.
- Ensure adequate raw material is prepared and membrane batches are completed in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot and identify potential solutions for mechanical errors, safety issues, or operating inefficiencies.
- Participate in manufacturing continuous improvement activities, including support of new product design, process development, and equipment/process validations.
What you'll need
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read and understand documented processes and procedures.
- Ability to use measuring devices and hand tools.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb a ladder up to 4 ft., and walk and stand during entire shift.
- Ability to repetitively pinch and grasp hand tools, twist, bend, reach upward, and handle all materials required in manufacturing.
Nice to have
- 1-year manufacturing experience.
