About the role
This role involves manufacturing high-level integrated circuits on GaAs and InP substrates within the IC wafer fabrication cleanroom, specifically focusing on the C1 Dry Etch area.
What you'll do
- Handle and mix hazardous chemicals for wet processing of etches.
- Run specialized thin film deposition tools and verify proper thicknesses.
- Perform detailed inspections using a microscope to determine complete and proper processing.
- Operate multiple dry etch tools and interpret signal analysis and end point computer models.
- Use multiple periphery equipment such as thin film measurement tools, profilometers, and dry etch ashing tools.
- Support engineering with manufacturing special tests and new product introduction.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly qualification of Dry Etch Tools, Deposition Tools, Dry etch Ashing Tools, and solvent stripping systems.
What you'll need
- Experience with semiconductor processing.
- Detail-oriented with ability to run precision equipment to comply with critical specifications.
- Ability to learn quickly and work precisely from written instructions regarding safety, chemical handling, and wafer handling.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment which requires specialized work clothing.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Word.
- Knowledge of quality control systems and ability to interpret control charts and data analysis.
