About the role
This role involves leading daily wafer fabrication operations and driving production excellence at onsemi. You will supervise a team of manufacturing specialists and ensure manufacturing targets are achieved safely and efficiently, focusing on Photolithography and Etching processes.
What you'll do
- Supervise a team of manufacturing specialists in daily operations to meet production targets.
- Lead, motivate, and guide subordinates to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process simplification, labor productivity, and cost efficiency.
- Conduct prompt investigations into maverick lots, implementing containment actions and coordinating with QA, equipment, and process engineering.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality system requirements, including FMEA and and control plans.
- Manage inventory control to align with departmental budgets, investigating discrepancies and implementing preventive measures.
What you'll need
- Diploma or Degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience of at least 5 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience or knowledge in Photolithography and Etching processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Proficient in Tableu for reporting, documentation, and communication tasks.
- Comfortable using digital collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint).
