About the role
This role involves supervising a work area within material production, ensuring area production targets are achieved and driving process improvements.
What you'll do
- Supervise a team of manufacturing specialists in daily operations to meet production targets.
- Conduct investigations into maverick lots, implementing containment actions and coordinating with QA, equipment, and process engineering.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process simplification, labor productivity, and cost efficiency.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality system requirements, including FMEA and control plans.
- Manage inventory control to align with departmental budgets, investigating discrepancies and implementing preventive measures.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and internal standards such as RBA, SOX, and internal controls.
What you'll need
- Certificate or Diploma in a relevant field; candidates with equivalent experience of at least 10 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Comfortable using digital collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint).
