About the role
This role involves operating assembly equipment and/or second operation machines for membrane products. You will perform various tasks including greenforming, sintering, laser cutting, and wet saw cutting in a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do
- Operate assembly equipment and second operation machines, performing tasks such as greenforming, sintering, laser cutting, and wet saw cutting.
- Visually verify product quality, ensuring consistency with specifications, and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Perform operations on the product line in accordance with work orders and process record instructions.
- Finalize all required paperwork, including Production Reports, Labels, Component Sheets, Rework Sheets, and SAP Transactions.
- Follow documented sequences for identifying, measuring, and processing raw metal powders to create targeted product forms.
- Use computer-driven vacuum furnaces, perform cutting and cleaning processes, and enter inspection data and batch detail into SAP.
What you'll need
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and understand documented processes and procedures.
- Good attention to detail and ability to perform basic math computations.
- Ability to use measuring devices and hand tools.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb a ladder up to 4 ft., and walk and stand during the entire shift.
- Ability to repetitively pinch and grasp hand tools, twist, bend, and reach upward, and handle all materials required in manufacturing.
Nice to have
- 1-year manufacturing experience.
- Ability to use computer programs and Excel for data entry tasks.
