About the role
This role is responsible for performing tasks related to building Ultra High Purity Systems and subassemblies in a Class 100 cleanroom work environment on 3rd shift (11pm – 7:30am). You will carry out mechanical and electrical assembly based on engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions while wearing required cleanroom garments.
What you'll do
- Assemble mechanical and electrical subassemblies and systems working from instructions, engineering drawings, schematics, and piping and instrumentation drawings. - Install tube fittings using VCR (vacuum coupling radius) and compression fittings with supervision. - Work in a Class 100 (ISO 5) cleanroom environment wearing appropriate required garments and protective equipment. - Execute routine, repetitive assembly operations while following engineering and customer requirement specifications. - Complete 6S responsibilities (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain, safety) and maintain a clean, safe work area. - Learn and apply proper measuring techniques, tool use, care, and quality standards.
What you'll need
- High School Diploma or equivalent. - 1-2 years of mechanical assembly or relevant experience. - Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment. - Ability to learn to navigate operating systems to find BOMs, drawings, and work instructions. - Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs daily, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods of time. - Ability to use a computer for basic data entry, with dependability and flexibility to work overtime and weekends.
