About the role
As a Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will perform equipment startup, modifications, upgrades, troubleshooting, and maintenance on production and R&D systems. This role focuses on hands-on mechanical assembly, high vacuum systems, and light electrical work within the Crystal Growth Equipment team.
What you'll do
- Provide equipment support to improve tool performance.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and determine corrective actions.
- Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting on electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment.
- Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment using plans, blueprints, or manuals.
- Use test and diagnostic equipment for checkouts.
- Rebuild manufacturing equipment as needed.
What you'll need
- Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems.
- Ability to read electrical wiring, block, and schematic diagrams.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong work ethic and ability to manage time.
Nice to have
- Associates Degree in a related field or equivalent military experience.
